Thank you so much for preparing our Health and Safety Plan for the Royal Conservatory of Music’s new Koerner Hall. Your knowledge of the tasks performed by stage crew, actors, musicians and dancers, and your understanding of stage machinery, lighting, and other operational practices allowed us to open the new hall with a comprehensive plan in place.

During this busy start up time it was a comfort to me to have had this very important work completed by a professional, with encyclopedic knowledge of Health and Safety practice and legislative requirements.

One year into our operation, there is little need for revision in this area, despite many changes that developed over the start up of the new facility. A surprise visit to our facility by an inspector also resulted in no work orders being issued against the Production Department.

We at Theatre Direct were really happy with the work that Janet Sellery did in creating our Health and Safety program. She was able to personalize the documents to reflect the activities that we do in our small theatre, studio and office spaces.

It was great getting quick responses to questions when they came up, and we were involved in the process without being overwhelmed. I also liked how easy it was to implement the Health and Safety practices to ensure we were creating a safe environment for everyone visiting and working in our facilities.
